Celebrate the season at Pike Place Market’s 30th Annual Magic in the Market! Bring your family, friends, and neighbors to experience one of Seattle’s most beloved holiday traditions. From twinkling lights to festive music, the Market transforms into a winter wonderland filled with holiday cheer, seasonal shopping, and activities for all ages.

This year’s celebration includes:

• Free Photos with Santa – Capture a holiday memory with Santa himself, 11am – 4pm (must enter line by 3pm).
• Live Reindeer – Meet these magical creatures up close.
• Wand Making – Artist demonstration by Louis Shackleton of Shackleton & Shanks
• Color by Numbers Holiday Cards – Add your creativity to seasonal cards designed by Carrie Narducci of Pattern & Posy
• Scavenger Hunt – Find the Market Elves on the Shelves, designed by Joey of Dogear Productions. Find at least 5 and enter to win a prize! See official rules.
• Light-Up Photo Ops – Snap the perfect holiday picture with glowing Market backdrops.
• Holiday Choirs – Enjoy the sounds of the season with live performances.
• Cookie Decorating with Chef Traci of Atrium Kitchen – Sweet fun for all ages.
• Sip & Savor: A 21+ Market Tasting – Indulge in holiday bites and sips across the Market. Purchase your tasting ticket here. This is a 21+ only event activity.
• Food Drive – Community members are invited to deliver hearty soups and protein bars to the Market Farm Truck, located near Pike Place and Stewart Street, as part of the “Fill a Bowl, Fuel a Day” food drive supporting the Pike Market Senior Center & Food Bank.

• The evening concludes with the much-anticipated Market lighting ceremony, featuring a lively performance by the Can Can dancers and a festive concert with Carly Ann Calbero.
